1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "Practitioner", or "you") and Recura ("we", "our", or "us"), regarding your access to and use of the Recura website, applications, and services located at https://recura.sbs (the "Service").

By accessing the Service, creating an account via Google sign-in, or uploading study materials, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately discontinue use of the Service.

2. Account Registration & Security

To utilize Recura’s vaults and ritual features, you must register using an authorized third-party authentication provider (such as Google OAuth). You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete account information.
• Maintain the confidentiality and security of your credentials and connected accounts.
• Notify us immediately at support@recura.sbs of any unauthorized access or security breach.
• Accept sole responsibility for all activities that occur under your authenticated account.

You agree not to misuse the Service. Specifically, you shall not:

• Upload materials that infringe on third-party intellectual property, trade secrets, or privacy rights.
• Upload unredacted personally identifiable healthcare information (HIPAA-protected PHI) or classified records without authorization.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any aspect of the Recura platform or its inference prompts.
• Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to extract data or bypass access limitations.
• Introduce malicious software, viruses, worms, or disruptive code to our systems or edge networks.
• Attempt to bypass rate limits, membership paywalls, or database security policies.

6. Memberships, Billing & Cancellations

Recura offers free baseline access, subscription tiers (such as Monthly or Yearly Practitioner Passes), and institutional memberships.

• Billing Cycles: Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring monthly or annual basis, processed securely through our authorized payment gateways.
• Cancellations: You may cancel your subscription at any time via your Account Settings. Your access will continue through the end of your current prepaid billing cycle.
• Refunds: Unless required by applicable law or stated in an active founding guarantee, payments are non-refundable. If you experience an exceptional technical failure, please contact support within 14 days of purchase.

7. Termination & Suspension

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, in the event of a material breach of these Terms, abusive conduct, or compliance with legal mandates. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, and you may request an export or purge of your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT EXAM OR TRIAL RESULTS WILL MEET SPECIFIC TARGETS.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL RECURA, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES (INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR PROFESSIONAL STANDING) ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR ACCESS TO OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the company operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith informal negotiations before initiating formal legal proceedings.
